One of my favorite things in the world is watching a child enjoy a book.

I work as a literacy educator, and I am part of several organizations where I teach languages (Arabic and English) to children and develop educational materials for a variety of themes and subjects. I also help curate book lists and build diverse libraries in private and public settings within the community.

I’ve worked with children as young as two singing and dancing along, all the way up to college students engaging in thought provoking discussions.

Through my storytelling sessions, I hope to shed light on issues like Arab representation in the west and the power of books as tools for fostering love and acceptance. My talks and upcoming books tackle misconceptions in new ways and ask the world to look beyond that initial glance.  I also love sharing my writing journey and the inspiration behind it.

My visits are tailored to captivate students of all ages and abilities. I also offer sessions tailored for children with exceptionalities.
